Sanrizz Academy named as training experts at HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2019
Sanrizz in Russel Square has been named one of the UK’s best educator hubs after securing a finalist place in HJ’s British Hairdressing Business Awards 2019.
The Educator of the Year award, sponsored by Wella Professionals, recognises salons which train up to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent. Sanrizz secured its finalist place for this notable title thanks to its impressive commitment to training, a comprehensive staff appraisal system, and an inspiring focus on staff development.
Commenting on the announcement, Jayne Lewis-Orr, executive director of the British Hairdressing Business Awards said; “To be named as a finalist in the Educator of the Year category confirms just how exceptional Sanrizz is. They have crafted a superior training policy and excel at turning out accomplished trainees. The backbone of any company is how well a person receives training, evaluation and feedback, and the team at Sanrizz is a shining example of how skills can successfully be passed on, raising up a generation of new salon leaders. We wish them the best of luck.”
On learning of their success, Sharon Cox, the Education Director at Sanrizz says: “Training up new recruits to the hair industry is such a delight. It’s a wonderful mix of seamlessly combining creativity, high level technical skill, and customer service! Whilst we are thrilled to be recognised for our education programme, this award is a complete team effort. We wouldn’t be flying so high without our students’ and their hunger to learn.”
Wella Professionals sponsors the Educator of the Year category. Allie Hargreaves, Education Operations and Events Manager Coty Professional Beauty UKI says: “Receiving a finalist place in these awards is a phenomenal feat. Training is the absolute key to professional development in any company, and Sanrizz is giving its young hairdressers the very best start in their career. They are a great example of a future focused business which is dedicated to equipping stylists to realise their skills, and as a result, greatly benefits the wider high street and hairdressing sector too.”
